The Halifax Garrisons are no stranger to the financial obstacles faced by amateur sport in Canada and in Nova Scotia. The team currently has a partnership with The Garrison Brewing Company who provide the team and the players with their support and opportunity for events. The Halifax Garrisons proudly carry the namesake of the Brewing Company to display their gratitude. With that being said, expenses include: the costs of umpires, field rental, equipement, insurance, and travel... which amounts to thousands of dollars each season. In addition to the support from our friends at Garrison Brewing Company, the team attempts to subsidize the out-of-pocket costs for each player on the team by organizing fundraising activities or events.
